eclipse-ptp-rdt software package provides Eclipse Remote Development Tools, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-ptp-rdt
eclipse-ptp-rdt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-ptp-rdt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-ptp-rdt *
You will get with eclipse-ptp-rdt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
